About Sur Sangam music academy
Yes, we run vocal riyaz and fundamental instrument training here in Sudhowala for beginners and continuing students.
Classroom Practice
Daily drills matter. We focus heavily on swara identification through structured ear training, breathing techniques, and steady tempo maintenance.
- Vocal warm-ups and pitch matching
- Basic harmonium fingering patterns
- Fundamental rhythm keeping and taal
Practical Rehearsals
Sessions run hands-on. Students spend their class time practicing alongside the instructor rather than simply listening to lectures, correcting hand placement and tonal control on the spot. Video demonstrations on our channel provide additional reference material between visits.
