About VOC park and zoo
Managing public recreational grounds and educational outdoor activity spaces across Gopalapuram for families and school groups visiting Coimbatore.
What is maintained across the grounds?
Staff manage outdoor enclosures, walking tracks, and open play zones daily. Groundskeepers handle sanitation, path clearance, and habitat upkeep across designated sections so students can observe regional fauna safely.
- Animal housing enclosures and basic containment barriers
- Paved walking pathways for organized student batches
- Open lawns reserved for practical group tasks
- Fenced recreational clearings for family downtime
Practical visitor setup
Site supervisors organize entry gates, monitor perimeter security, and coordinate clear path directions. The layout allows field trips to navigate between animal enclosures and open green spaces without crowding specific lanes. Maintenance crews sweep visitor corridors during quiet periods to keep viewing spots clear throughout each week. Field excursion routes remain demarcated clearly for school instructors overseeing larger student batches.
