About Art Vanessa
Most treat drawing like an innate knack, but we teach hand control, measurement, and tone from scratch.
What happens during class?
Work tables fill quickly with paper pads and graphite pencils. Our instructors correct finger grips and posture before students even touch pigment.
Foundations of the studio work
- Accurate proportioning through sight-size measurement
- Controlling pencil pressure across light and dark tonal values
- Practising dry brush and ink line variations on cartridge paper
Practising line weight and tonal gradation builds solid muscle memory, helping learners shift gradually into complex still life setups and portraits. We focus on patience and hand steadiness. Clean your own brushes before leaving.
