About Madras Atelier - Fine Art Academy
Finding structured drawing practice along OMR can be tough, so our Thoraipakkam studio keeps things simple and focused.
Studio life at Thoraipakkam
Students sit together with sketchbooks, pencils, and easels. Instructors walk around the room, correcting grip, posture, and line weight as people work.
What happens during sessions?
Instruction centres on traditional observational drawing rather than quick tracing tricks. Everyone moves at their own natural speed.
- Line work and basic geometric blocking
- Pencil shading, tones, and texture studies
- Charcoal handling and still life composition
Call ahead before your first visit to check open batch slots. Parking along the street can get tight during peak evening hours.
