About Dr TVG's Academy of Indian Music & Arts (AIMA), Velachery
Velachery branch. We teach foundational music and arts alongside early Montessori education for neighbourhood children.
Classroom Activities
Lessons build steadily through practical tasks. Children handle physical learning tools, practice basic rhythm exercises, and follow structured daily routines without feeling rushed.
The Daily Routine
- Voice and rhythm basics
- Hands-on sensory equipment
- Small group learning tables
Quiet focus matters here. Staff guide each child individually, making sure fundamental learning habits develop through steady, unhurried practice rather than rote repetition. Parents drop by during the week to track basic classroom milestones and discuss ongoing progress directly with instructors.
