About ASHVI ABACUS ACADEMY
Children often struggle with mental math speed, so we teach basic abacus methods to build everyday calculation confidence.
Learning abacus steps
Children begin with bead manipulation, moving to mental calculations step by step. S. Nandhini Bhasskar handles the sessions directly.
- Bead counting techniques
- Regular speed drills
- Basic arithmetic practice
Practicing after school
Young learners attend classes during weekday evenings to build steady habits, which helps school arithmetic feel far less intimidating over time. Small groups keep the setting calm. Festivals like Vinayaka Chaturthi get celebrated together with students and parents. Parents can easily review daily bead work at home. Consistency matters most here.
