Operating on a 3-year-old child is always a delicate task, but recently, our team at Paras Hospital faced a uniquely challenging case. This resilient toddler presented with a critical Posterior Fossa Hematoma, requiring immediate, life-saving surgical intervention in the middle of the night.​What made this case exceptionally critical was the child's pre-existing Atrial Septal Defect (ASD). Managing intracranial pressure while ensuring hemodynamic stability in a pediatric patient with a congenital heart defect leaves absolutely zero room for error. The surgical precision, anesthesia management, and post-operative ICU care had to be perfectly synchronized.​I am incredibly proud to report a highly successful surgery and an excellent neurological outcome.​This success is not mine alone. It is a testament to the power of a multidisciplinary medical approach.
