About ZICA Bhubaneswar
Classroom projects here lean into filmmaking, animation exercises, and direct student production work right from Saheed Nagar.
Making practical films in class
Daily sessions bring together aspiring creators who test ideas directly on screen. Students recently produced their own short film tribute modelled after popular cinema, handling camera work, scripting, and acting under faculty guidance.
What do you learn during class?
- Story development and scripting fundamentals
- Camera work paired with live direction
- Editing short footage into complete student films
Classes focus on practical trial where learners fix mistakes by re-shooting scenes until the timing works out. It is hands-on creative practice without dry theory drills. Everything moves directly from paper concepts into final footage inside the studio rooms.
