About Guru Kelu Charan Mohapatra Odissi Research Centre
Most assume we only train dancers, but our space also guides learners through foundational drawing techniques.
Learning lines before complex figures
Not just classical steps. People often forget visual arts share similar discipline and rhythm.
Practicing the fundamentals
Students spend time working directly on the basics:
- Pencil control and sketching drills
- Basic perspective for beginners
- Simple form studies on paper
Instructors emphasize steady manual practice over hurried results. You build basic observational skill quietly in class without fuss or unnecessary digital shortcuts. It remains focused, calm study.
