About City UCMAS, Siripur
Our centre runs routine abacus practice sessions to train children in mental arithmetic and manual bead calculation.
Mental Arithmetic Practice
Daily drills train students to move beads on the physical abacus before shifting to mental calculation. This repetitive finger movement builds visual memory and speed.
- Bead manipulation mechanics
- Speed arithmetic sheets
- Dictation based mental calculation
Arithmetic Skill Training
Classes proceed stage by stage. Children work through structured exercise books, solving addition and subtraction sums under set timers. The focus stays entirely on improving computational speed without using calculators or rough paper. Regular evaluations check how accurately students retain the mental image of the abacus.
