Shalom Special School for Mentally Challenged

What happens during school hours?

Basic self-reliance comes first. Classrooms focus on communication, sensory response, and guided physical coordination rather than traditional exam syllabuses.

• Motor skills development and coordination tasks
• Daily living skills including personal hygiene training
• Speech support and non-verbal communication methods
• Social interaction practice in small batches

Practical learning routines on Berasia Road

Children follow structured schedules planned around concrete repetition. Regular routines help pupils build confidence with daily tasks over time. Parents receive direct updates regarding progress and home reinforcement methods. The focus stays firmly on independence.
