Roots Abacus Learning School- Bawadiya Kalan, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh

What happens during class?

Children work on counting frames to understand bead positions, place value, and simple calculations before moving to visualization drills.

• Bead movement practice
• Mental addition drills
• Timed arithmetic exercises

Practical classroom routine

Practice begins with fingers on physical rods. Regular repetition helps students calculate mentally without using the wooden instrument over time, relying entirely on their internal memory of bead positions during problem solving. Speed grows steadily. Students learn at their own pace during every session. Routine practice keeps the focus sharp.
