• The Madhya Pradesh Tribal Museum sits on Shyamala Hills and showcases the material culture of central India's indigenous groups.

• The six themed galleries present full-scale tribal houses, hand-carved marriage pillars, pottery, bell-metal casting, and agricultural tools from communities like the Gond, Bhil, Korku, and Baiga.
• High ceilings, dramatic lighting, and mud-plastered verandas let you step inside physical replicas of rural forest hamlets.
• November to February offers pleasant weather for walking between the indoor galleries and the open-air courtyard.
• The museum opens from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM between March and October, closing an hour earlier during winter months.
