About truchamps
Mental arithmetic feels daunting for school learners, so we break foundational arithmetic down using tactile abacus rods.
Classroom abacus instruction
Kashmir Avenue sessions run in small physical batches where instructors guide young hands across calculation frames. Fingers flick beads up and down until numeric patterns turn visual.
What happens during drills?
Children work from structured exercise sheets, tackling timed arithmetic intervals.
- Bead movement drills
- Direct calculation sheets
- Mental visualization practice
- Weekly progress checks
Routine repetition builds manual dexterity alongside raw calculating speed. Students transition from touching physical frames to visualizing the layout in memory. Phone coordination handles batch slot assignments before new students join.
