About Sitaratva
Learning sitar takes patience and regular listening, not just memorising hand positions. We teach classical sitar right here in Bodakdev.
Sitar Teaching in Bodakdev
Many assume Indian classical instruments demand childhood beginnings. Sitar instruction here focuses on clear fingering techniques, stroke practice, and ragas taught step by step. You develop ear training alongside disciplined hand movement.

- Swara practice and meend work
- Traditional raga compositions
Practical Learning Notes
Progress relies entirely on personal daily practice between sessions. Having your own sitar at home helps you retain lessons, because regular riyaz makes all the difference with string control. Instruction suits dedicated beginners as well as returning learners.
